Windmill Park is reputed to be one of the most prestigious clubs in
Thailand. The course is split into six different parts by lakes
and water influences play on sixteen of the holes. Tall palms
and lush fairways are the main features of what is a very
challenging course from the back tees. The four par fives all
feature a dog-leg. The eighteenth is a dramatic finishing hole
in that the approach has to be hit to an island green adjacent
to the clubhouse which is situated on the same island. There is
floodlighting for night golf.

The course is located in pleasant, open countryside and
the terrain is rather flat. Greens and fairways are
in excellent condition. Water comes into play on
many holes. The par fives are perhaps the most
difficult holes on the course and require the player
to 'to think out' his shots. There is a fine
clubhouse in addition to a swimming pool, tennis
courts and a fitness center.

Uniland is situated in beautiful countryside surrounded by
residential units. The golf course measures 6,982
yards from the blue tees. The fairways are
undulating and tend to slope off towards lateral
water hazards. Clever placement of bunkers calls for
accuracy and some long hitting, especially on the
par-five holes. The dog-leg seventeenth is 641 yards
from the back tee and even the ladies have to play
this hole as a 581 yarded. The greens are in good
condition, despite the fact that the course only
opened in late 1996.

The wide, undulating fairways and spacious greens make golfing
here a pleasure for all standards of golfer. However, water
comes into play on every hole except the fourteenth. Most of
the par-four holes are very exacting and demand accurate
play for the shot to the green. Interestingly, the one hole
without any water hazard, the par-five 14th is stroke 18 on
the score card. There are four excellent par-three holes,
each demanding a highly-skilled tee shot if the golfer is to
avoid a watery grave. The clubhouse unveils fine views
overlooking a sparkling lake and lush greens. The club has
its own hotel.

Designer Greg Norman used plain grasses, reeds and lots of sand to create
an illusion of a seaside links right in the middle of one of
Thailand's biggest housing developments. This beautiful layout
is enhanced by natural streams, lakes and an abundance of
strategically-placed sculptured sand traps. It is a long, tough
par 72 and accurate shot making is needed on almost every hole.
The 3rd, 4th and 5th holes are all played to island greens, as
is the short twelfth. The clubhouse facilities are first-class.

Located 40 kms south-east of central Bangkok, the layout boasts
conditions perfect for golf. The atmosphere is clear, the
air is cool and the wind can be strong. Designed by Arnold
Palmer, the course features many elevated tees, plus large,
fast and gently sloping greens. There is not too much water
to contend with; nevertheless, it does come into play on
some of the tough dog-leg holes, such as the par 5 fifth,
thirteenth and eighteenth The wide fairways tend to make the
course more forgiving for the average player. There is a
pleasant, partially open-sided clubhouse.

Aptly named, the course comprises "Lake'', "Wood'' and "Rock''
nines. The relatively flat terrain is enhanced by a
profusion of flowers and shrubs. Water features on
twenty-two of the twenty-seven holes and there are perhaps
more dog-leg holes at Lakewood than any other course in
Thailand. It is the clever use of water which makes so many
holes play as dog-leg, particularly from the teeing ground.
At the seventh hole on the "Wood'' nine, most players will
opt to play their tee shot well left, in order to avoid the
huge lateral water hazard which stretches right across the
fairway. The clubhouse is palatial.

Set amongst Chonburi’s hilly peaks, the Plu-Ta-Luang Golf Club is one of the oldest and most
natural courses in the country. Designed long before the fad for employing professional golfers
to design courses became the par, this Royal Thai Navy Designed courses utilizes mother nature
to its best affect. Hills are the name of the game here, leaving scenic features bordering on
a huge lake at every turn. Although both courses are fairly taxing, a rope lift helps weary
golfers back to the clubhouse after their game.

Formerly known as Bangna Country Club, the course is very popular with Bangkok based golfers.
The course features hundreds of palm trees along every fairway and water comes into
play on almost every hole. This is definitely not a course for hookers and long
hitting is not the name of the game either. Those who hit straight will be rewarded
at Subhapruek. The par threes are all very tricky and a player who makes par at all
four of them will have a good round of golf. The clubhouse is massive and has every available facility.

This course is deceptive and appears much easier than it is. It is a fairly flat layout
with good fairways and greens. Water comes into play on every hole except the tenth.
The greens tend to be quite and have many interesting slopes for the golfer to assess.
The long par five holes are all difficult on account of the greens being so well
guarded by either water or extensive bunkering. The course is complemented by an
elegant clubhouse, sporting facilities, residences and a boat club.
Visitors are not permitted to play on weekends.

This course is situated in beautiful countryside and benefits from the hundreds of trees and shrubs.
There are some very difficult holes, including longish water carries on the opening holes of both sides.
Fairways give many sloping lies and many of the greens are hidden behind huge mounds.
The four par fives are all tough holes; the 11th and 18th particularly so, as water hazards line
both sides of the fairway. Clever placement of bunkers and undulating greens add to the difficulties
of this very exacting course. The clubhouse is opulent and dining here is expensive.
