Designed under US PGA international standards by Denis Griffiths, at that time president of the world-renowned American Society of Golf Course Architects, The 7,157-yard course, from the professional tees, was tested during the 1997 Asian Honda Classic won by Tiger Woods. The large fairway bunker is the perfect line from the first tee. Be careful not to reach it though, and you will have the ideal angle to approach the green of this gentle opening hole. Nothing has been overlooked and attention to detail has been an integral part of the redevelopment of the course. The seashore peplum grass that was imported from Hawaii has been cultured locally making the course second to none. Each zone has unique flora and terrain challenges. The clubhouse facilities are luxurious.
