Hua Hin International Cricket Sixes
Becoming a more popular spot for cricket, the sunny seaside town,
Hua Hin holds 5-day tournament on the grounds of Dusit Resort to be
the biggest event in its 12-year history. 19 teams from 5 countries;
UK, Australia, Hong Kong, Bangladesh, India as a well as Thailand have
confirmed the participation.
First Hua Hin International Cricket Sixes Tournament took place in 1997.
Preserve Hua Hin Run
Hin Lek Fai Hill
Preserve Hua Hin Heavy Half Marathon & Fun Run is held in April
to help raise awareness on environmental and social sustainability
as well as to motivate the public to engage in physical fitness for
good health and longevity. The runs start and finish at Hin Lek Fai Hill.
The running route will be down and back up the 800-meter steep incline
to finish the race. The categories are male and female of various age
groups as well as 21.1 km, 10.55 km and 3 km runs.
Honda Summer Festival
Hua Hin Beach
Honda Summer Festival, Hua Hin’s music festival is organized every year since 2008.
The festival features various artists including many Thai, leading
international DJs and bands from all over the world in different
types of music such as Bossanove, Reggae, Ska, and Dance music
on the outdoor stage standing right on the beach from 12.00 am. – 12.00 pm.
Hua Hin Jazz Festival
Every year, Hua Hin Jazz Festival expects to draw thousands of
local and overseas visitors to enjoy local and international
jazz artists and bands rotating their performances between 2
stages on the beach and one stage in the town of Prachuab Khiri Khan.
The beach venues serves up a breezy ambience as thousands of jazz
lovers enjoy grat selections of jazz music from allover the world
on the white sand beach. The festival is expected to attract more
than 100,000 people each night. During the festival there are other
activities including jazz workshops, local food and product stalls
as well as games and lucky draws.
Hua Hin Shellfish Festival

This little seaside town, Hua Hin is famous for an abundant source of shellfish.
Hua Hin Market Village in cooperation with Tourism Authority of
Thailand (TAT), Hua Hin Municipality, Bangkok Shells Museum, leading
hotels and resorts in Hua Hin organise “Shellfish Eating Festival”
for the locals and tourists to enjoy the luscious dishes from fresh
shellfish that Hua Hin has to offer.
During the festival, local chefs prepare their specialty to be offered on sale.
There are also fashion and decorative items made of shells.
Hua Hin Horse Festival
Hua Hin Beach
Horse Riding Association is cooperating with Hua Hin Municipality,
Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Hua Hin Horse for Rent Club
organize in July Hua Hin - Cha am Horse Festival Endurance Classic
on the beach.
The racing routes are 20-80 km long with the backdrop of beautiful panorama
of Hua Hin, beginning from the beach in front of Dusit Thani Hotel. The races
are divided into 3 groups; local group consisting of Thais and foreigners
living in Thailand, regional group consisting of riders from Malaysia
including neighboring countries and international countries group including
riders from EFT.
During the event, there are also other activities such as horse jumping,
child’s polo on horse’s back demonstration, sport cars show and many other
games. Every year over 100 horse riders participate in the competition and
attract many equestrian spectators and tourists.
The route for racing is 20-80 km. long with beautiful panorama of Hua Hin on both sides,
Hua Hin Queen’s Cup International Triathlon
Suanson Pradidat Army Camp, Hua Hin
Hua Hin International Triathlon is held annually during 3 – 8 August.
The competition is divided into Individual Olympic Distance Triathlon,
Team Olympic Distance Triathlon, Individual Olympic Distance Duathlon
and Team Olympic Distance Duathlon.
Winners of each category will receive trophies. Each athlete will
receive a medal and a T-shirt after crossing the finish line and
the Queen’s Cup will be present to only the winners of male and female open.
Hua Hin Regatta
Sofitel Centara Grand Resort & Villa Hua Hin, Prachuab Khiri Khan
Held annually, Hua Hin Regatta, a sailing competition runs in the course of 3
days. The event will take place at Hua Hin Beach in front of Sofitel
Centara Grand Resort & Villa Hua Hin.
The coveted trophies are Royal Vega Rudder trophy for varies classes
from His Majesty the King, Super Mod National Championship trophy from
His Majesty the King, OK dinghy National Championship trophy from Her
Majesty the Queen and Princess Cup for Optimist Championship from HRH
Princess Galyani Vadhana.
Hua Hin Regatta was first held in 2000 in honour of His Majesty the
King Bhumiphol Adulyadej.
Hua Hin Golf Festival
August - September
Hua Hin Cha-Am
Hua Hin Golf Festival offers an beautiful opportunity for all golf lovers to
enjoy lowest green fees of the year at all major courses in Phetchaburi and
Prachuapkhirikhan throughout August to September. Participants will also get
invitations to compete in organised tournament every Sunday. There are also
lucky prizes to win a car for players achieving a hole-in-one at designated
holes on the last day of the festival.
The festival is organised by Tourism Authority of Thailand together
with the Phetchaburi - PrachuapkhiriKhan Golf Course Association.
Hua Hin Isan Festival

This one-night event features an array of performances and
displays highlighting northeastern (Isan) cultures and traditions
including dance, music and unmissably Isan food accompanied by
sticky rice and chillis are available throughout the night.
Hua Hin Food Festival
The Royal Queen Park
This is a delightful opportunity to taste plenty of Thai
food and watch cooking shows as well as other performances.
Hua Hin will boast its best cuisine and fresh seafood.
Nearby province will also participate by showcasing their
specialty. Food contests, cooking demonstrations and night

Vintage Vehicles Procession
14-16 December 2010
An amazing procession of 3rd Hua Hin Vintage Car Parade will be held in Hua Hin.
The 225 km journey starts from Sofitel Central Plaza in Bangkok at 08.00 am.
On 15 December, the cars will parade around the town starting at 09.00 am.
to Hua Hin Railway Station, Klai Kangwon Royal Palace, clock tower and
finishes at Sofitel Central Hua Hin. Vintage car lovers should not miss.
Hua Hin Thai Cultural Festival

Hua Hin Thai Cultural Association Festival supported by Hua
Hin Municipality is organized annually since 2004 to
preserve Thai culture and customs.
During the festival, there are 4-region cultural art performances,
Thai traditional music, Thai cultural beauty contest, shopping
booths as well as masterpieces created by students from a vocational college.
Long Tail Boat Racing for King's Cup at Kha Tao Reservoir
Khao Tao Reservoir
Long Tail Boat Racing for HM King's Cup take place every December at Khao
Tao Reservoir. The participants will come from other provinces to join the
race. The race is categorized into 3 types; small, medium and large boats.
They are raced by 50, 30 and 7 oarsmen, respectively. The competition lasts
