Getting There
By Car
Pattani is about 1,055 km from Bangkok. Visitors can take Highway No.35 (Thonburi - Pak Tho) for about 90 km, then turn left onto Highway No.4 to Chumphon for about 460 km. After that, use Highway No.41 or 42 past Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla, and Pak-nam Thepa to Pattani. The total distance is around 505 km.
By Bus
Air - conditioned buses leave from the Southern bus terminal in Bangkok at 06.00 pm. everyday. The journey takes about 15 hours. A reservation may be made in Bangkok by calling Tel. 0 2431 1957 and in Pattani Tel. 0 7334 8816

By Train
There are no trains directly to Pattani, but there are trains to nearby Yala. From Bangkok’s Hua Lumphong Station there are both express and rapid trains to Yala (four departures daily).
