Getting There
By Car
Using highway no. 32, driving through Pranakorn Sri Ayuthaya province, Ang Thong, Sing Buri,
and Nakorn Sawan. After that, using highway no. 1, passes Kham Pang Petch, Tak, Lampang
and then go into Phayao. The overall distances are 969 km.
Using highway no. 32, driving through Pranakorn Sri Ayuthaya province, Ang Thong, Sing Buri,
and Nakorn Sawan. Turn right into highway no. 112 until reach Pitsanulok and
then turn left into highway no.12 until reach Sukho Thai. After that, turn right into highway no.101,
pass through Amphoe Den Chai, Prae and turn left into highway no. 103.
Driving through Amphor Rong Kwang onto highway no.1, moving passed Amphoe Ngao
and then it will reach inside Phayao province. The overall distances is 782 km.
Using the ring round way; Bangkok - Nakorn Sawan - Pitsanulok - Sukothai - Sri Satchanalai - Den Chai - Prae - Rong Kwang - Phayao,
the distance along this way is 782 km.
Another way nearby to the way no. 3 above;
Bangkok - Nakorn Sawan - Pitsanulok - Uttradit - Den Chai - Prae - Rong Kwang - Song - Chiang Muan - Dok Kham Tai - Phayao.
The distance along this way is similar to the way no.3
By Bus
There are dairy buses from Bangkok to Phayao at The Northern Bus Terminal (Mor Chit 2) on Kham Pang Petch Road.
Buses have many rounds per day which tourists can select both standard and air conditioner bus.
By Train
Catching the train from Hua Lam Pong Railway Station, Bangkok and choose the destination to Lampang or Chiang Mai.
Ticket reservation calls 02-223-3672. When arrived the destination, catch the bus to Phayao by
which the distance from Lam Pang to Phayao is approximately 131 km. and from Chiang Mai is 150 km.
By Plane
Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai is the most convenience for travel by airplane.
There are many flights along the day both domestic and international flight.
Travelling by airplane is suit for the tourists who have relatives or travel agency to pick them up from airport,
or the tourists who love to rent and driving car for trip. The distance from Chiang Mai to Phayao is 150 km.
and from Chiang Rai to Phayao is 94 km.
