Khao Luang Cave

Khao Luang Cave
Khao Luang Cave is very beautiful and the largest cave in Phetchaburi. There is Wat Tham Klaep or Wat Bun-thawi located at the foot of Khao Luang Hill. Attractions within the compound are a large multi-purpose hall and a ordination hall laden with beautifully carved door panels. Apart from beautiful stalactites, the large hole on the ceiling allows the plenty of lights down to the cave floor creates the stunning scene in the cave. This cave also houses a Buddha image cast under the royal command of King Rama V as a dedication to King Rama III and King Rama IV.

How to get there : Khao Luang Cave is located approximately five kilometers from Khao Wang.
Khao Tao Mo Cave
Location : Tha Yang District
Khao Tao Mo is a large cave cover an area 40,000 square meter, inside the cave there are marvelous stalagmites and stalactites beautify a throne hall-like chamber. In addition, there is the great view point on Khao Tao Mo Hill which can see panorama of reservoir and around the hill.

How to get there : Drive along the road leading to Kaeng Krachan Dam, turn right at 186 - 187 kilometer maker and drive for 6 kilometers to Phetchaburi Water Transmission and Maintainance Project, then turn left and cross a bridge to the follow direction signs for 15 kilometers to Wat Phra Phuttabat Khao Luk Chang. And from Wat Phra Phuttabat Khao Luk Chang about 9 kilometers will see Khao Tao Mo or Tao Mo Mountain.
Khao Yoi Cave
Location : Khao Yoi District
Khao Yoi Cave is located on the hill, inside the cave, there is a 16-meter declined Buddha image installed along the smaller ones. It was the place where King Rama IV practiced meditation while he was ordained. There are at least seven caves that some are connected together while some has to climb to the other side. At the entrance, there are large group of monkeys which you can feed them some fruits from shop surroundings.

How to get there : Khao Yoi Cave is located approximately 22 kilometers from Phetchaburi town. Which Khao Yoi Cave is clearly visible from Highway No.4 behind the railway station of Khao Yoi District.
Hua Chang Cave
Location : Kaeng Krachan District
Hua Chang Cave features a limestone cave with stalagmites and stalactites that look like an elephant’s skull.

How to get there: Hua Chang Cave is located 1 kilometers to the east of the Park’s Ranger Station Ko Cho 4. It is accessible by a 200 meters walk.

Pha Nam Yod Waterfall is new natural attraction of Phetchaburi. The waterfall is beautiful and located in Ang Kaew hill. The waterfall feature looks like 3 layer umbrella, hight 35 meters and width 15 meters. This waterfall will beautiful, clear water and very cool in raining season.
Kradang Nga Waterfall

Kradang Nga Waterfall is a 3-level waterfall. It located in the north of Kaeng Krachan National Park, the area of Nong Ya Plong District.

Mae Laliang Waterfall

Mae Laliang Waterfall is 3 levels waterfall which located 5 kilometers west of the roadside campground at Km 27. At the waterfall can do many activities such as nature trail study, waterfall traveling, flowers admiring and camping. But it is recommended for day hiking and camping.

Namtok Tho Thip
Namtok Tho Thip is the most beautiful waterfall in Kaeng Krachan National Park. The waterfall have 9 tiers, the 5th one is the most breathtaking. It is surrounded by shady trees.

Along the route to waterfall provide good views over the mountains, sea of fog, evergreen forest, high land birds and many kind of wild animals, especially the bird and butterfly. The bird and butterfly watching route will start from Km. 0 near the Khao Sam Yot Checkpoint to Km. 18. Butterfies can be seen on both sides along the route or at salt licks between Km. 10 - 12 whereas birds can be found near the Huai Sam Yot Reservoir, not far beyond the checkpoint, where various species of waterfowls inhabit. The nature study trail starts from Km. 18 and the Park’s endemic bird species, Ratchet-tailed treepie, can be noticed between Km. 18 - 27. It can be seen only here in Thailand.

How to get there : Namtok Tho Thip is located 15 kilometers from Khao Phanoen Thung. Visitors can accessible by car, with another 4 kilometers trekking to reach the waterfall. Travelling to a tourist attraction located deep in the forest should Kayaking in Kaeng Krachan Dam.

Pranburi Waterfall

Pranburi Waterfall is in the valley just south of the steep hill-climb at Km 18-23 on the Khao Phanoen Thung Road. The waterfall is 3 levels and located on the upper Pranburi River. It can be visited on one-day hike.

Tharnthip and Hinlad Waterfall
Location : Kaeng Krachan District
Tharnthip and Hinlad waterfall cascade through deep forest all year long and located on a tributary of the Phetchaburi River about 5 kilometers upstream of the Thortip confluence. Tourist may be visited as part of 3 or 4 day loop trek along with Thortip Waterfall.

Pala-U Waterfall is very popular waterfall of Kaeng Krachan National Park, the waterfall has 16 levels, water flows throughout the year. Two other waterfalls, Huai Palao Falls and Chonlanath Falls, are located near the ranger station at Pala-U Chonlanath is the tallest waterfall in Kaeng Krachan National Park.

How to get there : Pala-U Waterfall is located in Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, in the southern part of the national park.
