Location : Amphoe Ban Mo
Located at Tambon Banmo, Khitkhin City is an ancient city dating from the Khmer period. Another name of this city is "Parantapa" or "Senaratchakhon" Currently only the earthen mound of the moat still remains, measuring 4 metres in height and 60 metres in width. In the middle of the city there is a high mound called "Khok Prasat" in addition a seated Buddha image in the posture of being under the protection of naga heads was discovered at the water side area which is assumed to have been a royal landing. Phra PhutthachaiLocation : Amphoe Mueang
Wat Phra Phutthachai is situated on the foot of Khao Pathawi, Nong Pla Lai Sub-district, the same entrance as Phra Phutthachai National Park, where Phra Phutthachai or Roi Phra Phuttharup - a shadow of the Buddha is located on the cliff. A mondop - a square building with a crown-like spire - was built to cover it. A staircase was also constructed to lead the way from the temple to the cliff above the Mondop.

Moreover, there are pre-historic line drawings at the foot of the cliff such as the drawing similar to deer. Near the entrance to Phra Phutthachai, there are human hands and symbols. From Tham Ruesi to Phra Phutthachai on the western side, there are drawings of chickens, Buddha images and symbols. Also, on the Cho Po Ro cliff, a gigantic and complicated drawing was found. It is similar to the pre-historic one at Pha Taem, Ubon Ratchathani. Moreover, there is an ancient drawing with latex, aged approximately 3,000 years, symbolising the meaning among the group and probably used as a ceremonial medium or belief of the people in that period of time.

Phra Phuttha Nirarokhantarai Chaiwat Chaturathit resides in the cruciform pavilion of Wat Sala Daeng, Phichai Ronnarong Songkhram Road, opposite the city hall. It is the Buddha image of the East and one of the four images made by the Territorial Defense Department to express loyalty to King Rama VI and King Rama IX. The Golden Buddha Image
Location : Amphoe Sao Hai
The Golden Buddha Image resides at Wat Phra Yao. It is a Buddha image in the meditation posture measuring 110 centimetres wide at its lap, 170 centimetres high, round face, smiling lips and a flame-like spire on the head. It was constructed during the late Ayutthaya period. At the second fall of the Kingdom of Ayutthaya to Burma, the locals who immigrated from the Burmese took it along, applied black lacquer and cement to cover it, and left it at a deserted temple in Uthai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. Then, it was taken to be the principal Buddha image at Wat Uthit Samoson before being moved again to reside at Wat Phayao. Later, a monk noticed the black lacquer in between the cement and asked the locals to remove the cement. As a result, the golden Buddha image underneath was discovered. The Fine Arts Department examined it and analysed that there is 70% gold. Therefore, the locals named it “Luangpho Thongkham” (the Golden Buddha image). Location : Amphoe Saohai
Wat Khao Kaeo Worawihan is located in Ton Tan Sub-district, on the right side of the Pa Sak River, 6 km from Sao Hai District Office. When King Rama IV visited Sao Hai District, he ordered the renovation of this temple and promoted it as a royal temple. There has been a rumor that there used to be a bright crystal ball over the Wihan of Wat Khao Khaeo on some nights. It is considered a miracle of the sacred object contained inside the Chedi. Inside the small 5-spired Chedi situated between the bell tower and the main chedi reside the adorned Buddha image, Buddha image in the Palelai (Palilayaka) posture, and the Lord Buddha’s footprint. Wat Samuha Pradittharam is located in Suan Dok Mai Sub-district, 2 km from the District Office. Its Ubosot was completely constructed in 1897. Inside are very beautiful mural paintings depicting the Khawi folk tale, the main Buddha image taken from Sukhothai’s Ancient City and cast of bronze covering with gold leaves in the posture of subduing Mara, as well as, the images of the Lord’s 2 major disciples: Moggallana and Sariputta residing on both sides. Sao Ronghai is in Chao Mae Takhian Tong Shrine at Wat Sung, Tambon Sao Hai. It is located 500 metres from Sao Hai District Office. It is a large pillar, which is believed to be a female spirit because offerings people give to this pillar are all female items. According to legend, when Bangkok was built as the capital, there was a decree that the most beautiful pillars from all over the country would be taken to Bangkok for selection to find the City Pillar. It is a model of the holy Buddha footprint traced deeply in the ground, located in the compound of Wat Phra Phutthabat Noi, Mu 10, Tambon Songkhon, Amphoe Kaengkhoi. The temple is located in the limestone valley of unusual beauty, 20 km from Saraburi City on Highway No. 2 (the Friendship Highway). Turn left into Amphoe Kaengkhoi and cross Adireksan bridge. Then turn left and go along Adireksan Road, turn right and go along the Songkhon - Phra Phutthabat Phukhae Road of about 7.5 km.
Samnak Song Tham Krabok
Location : Amphoe Phra Buttaphat
Samnak Song Tham Krabok is located at Prong Prap hills, Khun Khlon Sub-district, 25 km from the centre of Saraburi along Phahonyothin Road. It is on the left side if coming from Mueang district of Saraburi. Its entrance is between Km. 132-133. It is a well-known rehabilitation centre for drug addicts. This monastic residence was established by a Buddhist nun, Mian Panchan in 1957. After her death, Luangpho Chamrun Panchan, her nephew, has continued the mission. He was awarded the “Magsaysay Award” on 10 September, 1975. Location : Amphoe Phra Buttaphat
Wat Phra Phutthabat Located at Tambon Khunkhlon, Amphoe Phra Phutthabat, 28 km from Saraburi City. There is an entrance to the left before you reach Amphoe Phra Phutthabat. The distance to the temple is one km. The most important aspect of this temple is the Holy Buddha Foot Phot Hill of Satchaphanthakhiri Hill. The feature of the Footprint is similar to that of a human being, measuring 21 inches wide, 5 feet long and 11 inches deep. The Footprint was discovered in the reign of King Songtham (1624- 1628) who faithfully believed that this must have been the Lord Buddha's Footprint because its feasters. The King then hak a mondop constructed to enshrine the Holy Buddha Footprint. Other buildings  were added later periods. The mondop is a square-shaped building decorated with a seven-storey top roofing with  green ceramic tiles.

Each storey is decorated with a niche. There are square-form pillars with indented corners. Each pillar is gilded and structed with glass. The exterior walls of the mondop are gilded and decorated with pieces of glass in the shape of celestial beings and lotus buds. The door panels are in land with mothe-of pearl with exquisite designs. This workmanship belongs to the royal artists in the reign of King Bormmakot of Ayutthaya. The steps ascending the mondop consist of three paths. Each is decorated with a Naga figure starting with its five heads at the foot of the path and its body lying along the rail to the mondop. These five heads of each Naga were cast in bronze.

The Naga paths are Known as Silver, Gold and crystal, symbolizing the three descending paths from heaven. Around the mondop there are many bells hanging in rows for visitors to ring. It is believed that ringing the bells would help mankind to gain more merit. The ubosot and the wihan around the mondop were constructed in the Ayutthaya and the early Rattanakosin period style of architecture. In addition, in the temple compound there is a museum with collections of valuable art objects e.g. Ding Songtham's outfits, porcelain, Sangkhalok ware, ancient bronze ware, ancient weapons, model of the holy Buddha footprint, old roof top of Phra phutthabat Mondop, monk ranking fans from different periods and water supply pipes in the reign of King Narai the Great. Each year at he Buddha Footprint Shrine visitors, both thais and foreigners, come to worship the Footprint particularly during the "Festival of the3rd waxing moon the 1st day of the 3rd waxing moon (February) and between the 8th day of the 4 the waxing moon to the 1st day of the 4th waxing moon (March)".

In addition this temple is a place where the famous festival of offering flowers to monks is annually The Rain Retreat Day. This traditional event is observed only at Wat Phra Phuttabat in Saraburi and Wat Bowonniswetwihan in Bangkok. Location : Amphoe Wihandaeng
Located at Wat Khlongmai at Tambon Nongmu in Amphoe Wihandaeng, 42 km from Saraburi City on Highway No. 1 (Phahonyothin Highway). Before Raphat Bridge, the entrance is on the left. Chedi Phrakhunmae features a similar shape to that of Phra Pathom Chedi in Nakhon Pathom. Inside the bell- like shape part of the chedi, there is a model of the holy Buddha Footprint on the lotus-shape base which is surrounded by Buddha images of different postures. The chedi was constructed to remind children to give gratitude to their mothers.
Ban Khao Kaeo
Location : Amphoe Sao Hai
Ban Khao Kaeo is a traditional Thai wooden house of approximately 80-100 years old and is the property of Achan Songchai Wannakun. The house is established as the “Thai Yuan Cultural Study Centre”, collecting folk utensils, weapons, living tools, as well as, ancient woven textiles aged more than 100 years old such as Pha Muk Yok Dok, Pha Lai Khit, and Pha Chok. The atmosphere inside the house is relaxing and pleasant. Location : Amphoe Phra Buttaphat
which displays various precious artifacts including King Songthams attire, ceramics, bronzeware, old weapons, a replica of Lord Buddha's footprint, an old Mondop top, Phat Yot (ecclesiastical fans) from various periods, and the pipe dating from the King Narai period. The Phra Phutthabat Festival is held twice a year, during the eighth day of the waxing moon until the first day of the waning moon in the third month and the fourth month of the lunar calendar. Khao Samlan National ParkNamtok Sam Lan National Park originally called “Khao Sam Lan National Park”, covers 4 districts: Mueang, Kaeng Khoi, Nong Khae and Wihan Daeng, and occupies an area of approximately 44 square km or 27,856 rai. It was declared a national park on 2 June, 1981. October to January, which is during winter, is the best time to visit.

Khao Ruak Reservoir
is a small reservoir with a carrying capacity of 50,000 cubic metres. It is located between Khao Ruak and Khao Daeng and was constructed in 1980 with a sightseeing spot and venue for recreational activities such as kayaking, cycling a punting boat, swimming, etc.

Phra Phutthachai Tunnel
is 12 km from the park office. It is a one-way train tunnel which is 7 metres wide, 7 metres high and 1,197 metres long. It was constructed in 1994 and is the longest train tunnel in Thailand built by Thai people. It is at Khao Chong Ling on the border between Tambon Charoen Tham , Amphoe Wihan Daeng and Tambon Nong Pla Lai, Amphoe Mueang, Saraburi.

World War II Memorial of the Japanese Army (Khao Daeng)
is 2 km from the park office. It is a historical attraction. During World War II, the Japanese soldiers occupied the area of Khao Daeng as a military base and prison for captives. There remain traces of holes caused by the bombs left behind by the Japanese soldiers. The constructions made by the Japanese soldiers are the commanding tunnel, trenches along the valley, the commanding room, a treasure room, and the bunker lines.

Ancient Chedi on Top of Khao Radar
is assumed to have been constructed during the Ayutthaya period but was struck by the thunderbolt. At present, there are some traces left. Another historical importance is that the Japanese soldiers once used this place as a cannon base.

This Botanical Garden is located in Phu Khae district, 17 km from town along the Saraburi-Lop Buri route (Phahonyothin Road). It collects various kinds of plants for study and breeding. The vast expanse of garden and the flowing stream are suitable places for relaxation. The garden is open daily from 08.00 am. - 06.00 pm.
Chetkot Pongkonsao Natural Study and Ecotourism Center
Location : Amphoe Kaeng Khoi
Chet Khot - Pong Kon Sao Nature and Ecotourism Study Centre covers an area of 13,750 rai and is situated in Tha Maprang Sub-district. It is abundant with a biodiversity of both plants and animals. It is next to the west part of Khao Yai National Park and comprises many kinds of forests such as dry evergreen forest, moist evergreen forest, mixed deciduous forest and savanna that together create a variety of plants. It is also an origin of many waterfalls in the area. Plants in this area are herbs such as Phaya Mi Rit, Ma Krathuep Rong, Kwao Khruea, medicinal plants, as well as, various kinds of mushrooms such as cup fungi. Animals living in this compound are wild elephants, gaurs, bears, deer, barking deer, loris, mouse deer, wild boar and approximately 158 kinds of birds such as barbets, woodpeckers, red-wattled lapwings, bulbuls, blue magpies, etc. flying across between the centre and Khao Yai. This arboretum is 37 km from Saraburi town along Mittraphap Road. The entrance is on the left side and opposite the store of the Dairy Farming Promotion Organization of Thailand. It covers an area of 150 acres and is an intermediate forested area between Muak Lek district, Saraburi and Pak Chong district, Nakhon Ratchasima. The lively stream originates from the tributaries in Khao Yai National Park that flow into Pa Sak River that is the border between the two provinces. The stream has rock slopes and a small beautiful cascade. Along the stream are bridges and various kinds of plants and flowers. Location : Amphoe Mueang
This cave is in Wat Tham Si Wilai at Tambon Na Phra Lan, some 22 km from Saraburi town. The cave houses Phra Phutthanaowarat, a Buddha image of the Chiang Saen period as well as beautiful stalactite and stalagmite formations. From here, visitors could appreciate scenic views of mountain ranges.
Khao Khrok
The park has mountains of various sizes and plains in the valley. The highest peak is Khao Khrok which is some 329 metres high. Visitors can see a clear view of the town and neighbouring districts from here. The park is also home to pheasants, jungle fowls, barking deer, monkeys, wild boars, and birds of various species, especially Princess Sirindhorn Bird or the White-eyed River Martin. Located at Tambon Mueangkao in Amphoe Saohai. Bung Ngong is a natural water resource which is able to hole a water supply throughout a year. Its scenery is spectacular. Location : Amphoe Kaeng Khoi
This cave is located in the compound of Wat Tham Phra Phothisat, Tambon Thap Kwang, 32 km from Saraburi town, 15 km along Highway No. 2 (Mittraphap Road) to Nakhon Ratchasima and 11 km along the access road following the road sign. The cave is situated in the middle of Khao Nam Phu. It houses a bas-relief Buddha image on the wall, a Lankan pagoda of the Dvaravati period as well as monumental stalactites and stalagmites. The cave is teeming with various kinds of trees. Tham Thammathat, Tham Lumphini, Tham Sangat Chedi and a stone garden can be seen in the area. Location : Amphoe Kaeng Khoi
This cave is accessed via 2 routes: Drive for 12 km from the town along Mittraphap Road and turn left to Kaeng Khoi district through the market and 8 km over the Adireksan Bridge (which was built over Pa Sak River). Alternatively, drive for 15 km from the town along Highway No. 1 (Lop Buri route) to Phu Khae Witthaya School and then drive for 10 km from the Phu Khae-Kaeng Khoi Road (opposite the Phu Khae Witthaya School). Located  at the railway side at Mu 5 Tambon Thapkwang in Amphoe Kaengkhoi, Phasadet is a cliff which was visited by King Rama 5 and his Queen in 1895 after the Bangkok -Nakhon Ratchasima railway was being constructed. They inscribed their initials on the cliff. The cliff is 30 km from Saraburi City on the Friendship Highway. Go along the Highway for 25 km and turn left at Ban Sapbon School; then go further for 5 km on the laterite road. Location : Amphoe Nongkhae
Located at the house compound of Mr. Tom Muanmaen, a former teadman of Mu 6, Tambon Phaitam in Amphoe Nongkhae,17 km from Saraburi City, on Highway No.1 (Phahonyothin Road). The entrance is at 84 km on the left. The park, located in the bamboo wood has become a good dwelling place for various kinds of birds for over 50 years. The birds leave for food early morning and return at dusk. Major Events and Festivals Buddhist Rains Retreat Flower Offering. Location : Amphoe Phra Buttaphat
is a small stone well near the temple. At the mouth of the well are knee prints. There are stone slopes and a deep hole the size of a milk can near the well. The water that flows from the hole is believed to be holy water. According to legend, Bun, a hunter who found Lord Buddha's Footprint, washed game meat at this well by kneeling down and the small hole was made from his spear which was stuck into the ground. Located at Tambon Khunkhlon in Amphoe Phra Phutthabaty 3 km from the Holy Buddha Footprint Shrine, At Prathun Cave there is a stupa which was constructed by the command of King Rama 4 to Keep the the Buddha relics. Inside the cave there is the Phra Sangkatchai Buddha image and a stupa. Next to this cave about 4 km from the Holy Buddha Footprint Shrine, there are Mahasanuk Cave and Wimanchak Cave which contain spectacular stalagmites and stalactites. Before reaching the cave, visitors can see water springing up from the hill and Buddha imaged are enshrined. Location : Amphoe Phra Buttaphat
Located at Tambon Khunkholn, Amphoe Phra Phutthabat on the bank of Than Thongdaeng, a large stream flowing through Amphoe Phra Phutthabat. Local People live on the water from this stream Thankasem, a royal residence, was constructed during the reign of King Prasatthong of Ayutthaya. At present only its ruined foundation and walls remain. Location : Amphoe Phra Buttaphat
Located at Wat Phukhambanphot in Tambon Phukhamchan, Amphkoe Phra Phutthabat. The cave is a prehistorically site situated in the mountain. The discoveries in the cave include Neolithic articles which are similar of identical to those discovered at Ban Thakhae, Ban Dilang and Sapchampa in Lopburi: It is assumed that the Neolithic people dwelling at these places must have had relations with one another. Thale Ban Mo

Thale Ban Mo is situated at Tambon Ban Mo and Tambon Sang Sok, covering an area of 1,600 rai. Thale Ban Mo is a deep and wide pond, being a habitat of various water animals with a serene atmosphere. During February to July, a flock of thousands of migratory birds from Siberia will come, and live in this area. Also, around this place are various decorative flowers which create a peaceful atmosphere, as well as, an islet that admirably lies in the middle of the pond. Chet Sao Noi Waterfall or Namtok Sao Noi Location : Amphoe Muak Lek
Namtok Chet Sao Noi is a small waterfall at Tambon Muak Lek, on the same route as Namtok Muak Lek and continue on for another 9 km on an asphalt road. The waterfall flows along a stream and has 7 levels. The height of each level is 4 metres and offers a spacious shady swimming area.
Dao Khao Kaeo Cave
Location : Amphoe Muak Lek
This cave is at Tambon Phaya Klang, 35 km from Muak Lek district or 75 km from Saraburi town. To visit the cave, visitors must climb the stairs from the foot of the hill to the mouth of the cave about 100 metres up. When the light shines on the caves cell, it will sparkle like beautiful red, black and brown stars. The beautiful stalactite and stalagmite formations are on the cell and the wall. Sunflower Fields

Sunflower Fields are found between Lop Buri and Saraburi along the Phatthana Nikhom-Wang Mueang route. From December to January (Thai winter season), the sunflowers along the road attract all passersby when they are in full bloom. Location : Amphoe Mueang
It use the similar route as the entrance to Wat Phra Phutthachai, 1 km prior to reaching the temple. It is a location where crocodiles are raised and bred. Apart from the crocodiles, there are many other kinds of animals such as deer, monkeys, and various species of birds. It is open during 08.30 am. – 05.30 pm. Weaving Centre of Tambon Ban Ton Tan
Location : Amphoe Sao Hai
Weaving Centre of Tambon Ban Ton Tan was originated from a group of unemployed women but would like to make use of their free time and create more income for their families. This centre is a complete learning venue for youth and the public. There are various kinds of woven fabric on display such as loincloth, plain coloured cloth, Pha Si Khao, and fabric in the Dok Phikun – bullet wood flower – pattern, which is a traditional Thai Yuan style. To get there: Take Highway No. 3041 and turn right on to Highway No. 3341 until reaching Ban Pak Bang. Enter the same entrance as Wat Ton Tan. The centre is near the temple.
Bencha Sutthi Khongkha
Location : Amphoe Sao Hai
Bencha Sutthi Khongkha refers to the sacred water from 1 of the 5 important rivers that flows through Sao Hai District, which has been used in the Oath of Allegiance Ceremony from the reign of King Rama IV until the present time. When the king travelled by boat, he dropped by and took a bath at the Rat (Raja) Pier. The king was pleased with the cool, deep-running and calm water and had the water in this area taken to undergo an incantation ceremony at Wat Phra Phutthabat before being used in the coronation ceremony, as well as, other royal rites in the palace. The sacred water was taken from 5 rivers; namely, the Chao Phraya River (from Ang Thong), the Phetchaburi River (from Phetchaburi), the Ratchaburi River (from Samut Sakhon), the Bang Pakong River (from Nakhon Nayok) and the Pa Sak River (from Saraburi) and, therefore, originated the name of “Bencha Sutthi Khongkha” or “five pure rivers”.
Thanon Phrachao Songtham or Thanon Farang Song Klong
Location : Amphoe Ban mo
Thanon Phrachao Songtham or Thanon Farang Song Klong is a road constructed during the reign of King Songtham when he came to examine the Buddha’s footprint by his royal barge travelling along the Pa Sak River. As the king arrived at the pier, he continued his trip by an elephant led by Phran Bun. On his way back, he ordered a foreigner to look through a telescope and had a 10-wa (20-metre) road cut as a royal path straight through to the pier.
