Laem Son On
Location : Mueang District
Laem Son On situated to the northwest of Laem Samila that is naturally shaded with hundred of pine trees line both sides of the road leading to Laem Son On. At the end of the peninsula is the statue of Prince Chumphon Khet Udomsak, 28th son of King Rama V and founder of the Royal Thai Navy. The best view of Ko Nu and Songkhla Lake can be spotted from here.

Alongside these statues is another, much revered statue depicting Mae Thorani as a mermaid, the statue is an iconic symbol of Songkhla and has become a shrine to locals who believe it has the ability to bring them good fortune. How to get there: Samila Beach located in the City Municipality and only 2.5 kilometers from the fresh market (Thalat Supsin or Thalat Sot Thetsaban).
Sakom Beach

How to get there: Maharat Beach or Sathing Phra Beach is located opposite the Sathing Phra District Office and turn right about 500 meters to the beach.

The beach located 16 kilometers from South of Satingphra Beach on Songkhla - Satingphra Road at Km.18. This beach has a length of about 3 kilometers of white sand and beautiful scenery.

Perhaps the most well-known symbol of Songkhla province, both islands are located off the shore of Laem Samila. According to the legend, a dog, a cat, and a mouse, traveling on a Chinese sampan stole the merchant's magic crystal and tried unsuccessfully to swim ashore and drowned. The mouse and cat became the islands in the Songkhla Lake while the dog died on the shore and became the hill called Hin Khao Tang Kuan near the bay. Totally destroyed, the crystal then became the white sandy beach called Hat Sai Kaeo which literally means crystal sand beach.
Koh Yor

Koh Yor is small rustic charming island in Songkhla Lake, Koh Yor was later connected to mainland by the Tinsulanond Bridge. Now, Koh Yor is becoming one of the most well-known tourist attractions in Songkhla as all over an area of 9,275 rais (3,710 acres) benefited from both agriculture and handicraft industries which the most famous products are special kind of jackfruit called Jampada and the hand-woven fabric.
