busses depart from Bangkok’s Northern
Bus Terminal (Mo Chit 2) to Uttaradit
Route 1 :
From Bangkok, take Highway No. 1
(Phahonyothin Road) and Highway No. 32 to Nakhon Sawan via
Ayutthaya, Ang Thong, Sing Buri, and Chai Nat, and then use
Highways No. 117 and No. 11 to Uttaradit via Phitsanulok.
Route 2 :
2. From Bangkok, drive to In Buri,
then turn onto Highway No. 11 (In Buri-Tak Fa route) and proceed
to Uttaradit via Phitsanulok.
Trains depart from Hua Lumphong to Uttaradit every day. Contact the Bangkok Railway Station.
As in most rural Thai provinces there are typically songtaews
that follow established routes around the provincial capital
and local busses and songtaews for trips between towns within
the province. Songtaews, motorbike taxis, and are usually
available for private charter as well.
